Coaching Services

There is a 5% discount for Gold Card holders, Community Services Card holders and students.

For every service offering paid for, 5% will be donated to the non-profit organization Live Ocean. This is to support the incredible mahi they are providing to protect our precious ocean.

  • Individual 1-1 coaching session tailored for your swimming needs. Includes:

    • An initial consultation on your goals and some dryland rehearsals.

    • A one-off video footage of your swimming with some annotations.

    • In-pool swim technique guidance.

    • A take-home swim practice sheet.

    • A follow-up call to check-in and to cover any questions you may have.

    • Pool time 45mins, Cost $45 (incl GST)

  • Swimming requires progressive learning and practice. Individual 1-1 coaching programme sessions are tailored to build towards your goals. Includes:

    • An initial consultation on your goals and some dryland rehearsals.

    • A one-off video footage of your swimming with some annotations.

    • In-pool swim technique guidance.

    • Weekly take-home swim practice sheets.

    • Weekly follow-up call to check-in and to cover any questions you may have.

    • Pool time 45 mins each week

    • 5 week programme, Cost $180 (incl GST)

    • 10 week programme, Cost $320 (incl GST)

  • This is a detailed analysis of a video recording of your freestyle swimming. It features audio commentary, on‑screen video markup, personalized skill recommendations, targeted practice guidance, and ongoing email support. You will need to provide a video (or set of videos) showing different angles to your swimming:

    • Above the water swimming from the front and then along the water (approx 15 secs of footage)

    • Under the water swimming from the front and then along the water (approx 15 secs of footage).

    • Filming should be clear and include the whole swimmer’s body. Might need to practice first.

    • Swim at your usual pace and style.

    • Get in touch to confirm ways of uploading the video footage, e.g. DropBox.

    • Cost is $69 (incl GST)

  • Virtual Coaching can be provided anywhere globally. You just need access to:

    • A swimming pool or stable stretch of water.

    • Internet access for emails and Zoom calls.

    • The ability to provide short video footage (up to 30 seconds) of your weekly swimming progress (strongly recommended).

    The Virtual Coaching programme sessions are tailored for your swimming needs. Includes:

    • An initial consultation on your goals and some dryland rehearsals.

    • Analysis of the weekly video footage of your swimming with some annotations.

    • Technique guidance and 2 weekly swim practice sheets.

    • Weekly follow-up calls to check-in and to cover any questions you may have.

    • 5 week programme, Cost NZ$150 (incl GST)

    • 10 week programme, Cost NZ$280 (incl GST)

  • These sessions are for swimmers who prefer to practice their swimming with others. Swimmers must have attended at least one SwimMastery-related practice session prior to the start.

    At present these sessions only run in the summer months. Please get in touch if you are interested.
